With tyrosine, titanium dioxide, aloe vera, organic jojoba oil and West African shea nut butter, vitamin E and essential oils of lavender, peppermint, cypress and ylang ylang.
Tyrosine is an amino acid and melanin precursor which both naturally pigments and protects the skin from harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun. It is known to hastens the tanning process.
Titanium dioxide is a natural mineral compound with a high refractive index and strong ultraviolet light absorbing capability; an excellent natural protector and blocker of UVA (ultraviolet radiation of relatively long wavelengths), UVB (ultraviolet radiation of relatively short wavelengths), and IR (infrared radiation).
Aloe vera is a succulent plant resin that acts directly on skin’s collagen fibers, fostering and revitalizing elasticity. It contains complex polysaccharides that encourage water retention and which also offer excellent moisturizing properties. Aloe vera is used in the treatment of dermatitis because it soothes the pain and heals infections.
Organic jojoba oil is a carrier vegetal oil with characteristics very close to those of the skin’s natural sebum. It’s moisturizing with a non-greasy touch. Because of its unsaponifiable components (precious components found in some oils with softening, revitalizing and moisturizing properties), it spreads easily without leaving any film. It is a potent antioxidant with anti-age properties and revitalizes and nourishes skin and hair.
Shea butter is derived from the nut of the West African shea tree. Shea butter is very moisturizing, healing, anti-inflammatory and softening and smoothing to skin and hair. Shea butter stimulates collagen synthesis and is recommended for the prevention of wrinkles and aging of the skin while protecting it from harsh weather conditions.
Vitamin E moisturizes, protects and strengthens skin. It’s an effective anti-inflammatory and potent antioxidant helping to safeguard cells against free radical damage which causes aging. Vitamin E protects skin against environmental stressors.
