Aquaxyl
Aquaxyl is a high tech natural compound and a combination of molecules extracted from wheat, this ingredient promotes skin’s own hydrous flow. Aquaxyl is composed of Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, and Xylitol, all three of which are natural sugars found in fruits, vegetables and plant-life. It is gluten-free.
Aquaxyl deeply hydrates to increase water reserves in the skin. It has been proven by corneometry analysis that Aquaxyl improves epidermal water content and stimulates the synthesis of GlycosAminoGlycans (GAGs) that are responsible for trapping water within the skin. This action delivers an immediate and long-term moisturizing effect.
Aquaxyl also forms a protective film on the skin which prevents water from evaporating. In vivo clinical studies have shown that Aquaxyl increases the synthesis of ceramides, the major constituent of the skin’s protective barrier. Helianthus annuus hybrid oil, also known as sunflower seed oil, offers moisturizing and nourishing properties. It protects skin from UV damage and act as an anti-aging ingredient. It has a light texture and appears clear to pale yellow. This oil is abundant in antioxidants, vitamin E, and essential fatty acids which moisturize and soothe dry and irritated skin, promote a healthy-looking complexion, and nourish and condition hair. The oil is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and is non-comedogenic.
Organic jojoba oil is a carrier vegetal oil with characteristics very close to those of the skin’s natural sebum. It’s moisturizing with a non-greasy touch. Because of its unsaponifiable components (precious components found in some oils with softening, revitalizing and moisturizing properties), it spreads easily without leaving any film. It is a potent antioxidant with anti-age properties and revitalizes and nourishes skin and hair.
Aloe vera extract is the resin from the succulent plant which acts directly on skin’s collagen fibers, fostering and revitalizing elasticity. It contains complex polysaccharides that encourage appropriate water retention while offering excellent moisturizing properties.
